Pre-signings
Sam Curran was the one pre-signing. The England all-rounder was signed before the auction, which left Durban's Super Giants with a full squad before auction day, so they did not bid.
Auction buys
Durban's Super Giants bought nobody at the auction. Their 19-player squad was already complete before 7 October, so they sat out the bidding while the other four teams filled their remaining places.
Home ground
Kingsmead in Durban is the home ground. It hosts five home league games in Season 5. Their first home game is against Sunrisers Eastern Cape on 21 January 2027.
Recent history
Durban's Super Giants are still chasing a first SA20 title after four seasons. Aiden Markram has captained the side since Season 4, and Lance Klusener has been head coach since the first season.
