SA20 Points Table 2027

No points are on the board yet. The league starts on 17 January 2027, and the table on this page will fill from completed results only. Until match 1, every team is level.

The SA20 points table 2027 tracks all six teams through the league stage, from the opener on 17 January to the last league game on 14 February. Every team starts on zero, and the table fills only from completed results, never from predictions.

The top four at the end of the league stage reach the playoffs. The points system and the tie-breakers follow below, with 2027 rules marked TBC wherever the official conditions are still unpublished. All-time records from the first four seasons are on the records page.

Remaining fixtures

Pre-season, every league game is still remaining. The table below counts them per team, with each side’s next game and its last league game, so the run-in is visible before a ball is bowled.

Counts count league games not yet played. They update when results are recorded.

How the points system works

The official 2027 playing conditions had not been published on the official regulations page at the 3 November 2026 check, so the 2027 points rules are TBC here and will be updated from the official regulations when they appear. In recent SA20 seasons a win has been worth four points. A bonus point makes five. A no-result has shared the points, two each. A loss is zero.

Tie-breakers used recently: points, then wins, then bonus points, then net run rate. Those are recent-season rules, not a confirmed 2027 list.

Playoff qualification explained

The top four reach the playoffs. First plays second in Qualifier 1, and the winner goes straight to the final. Third plays fourth in the eliminator. The eliminator winner plays the Qualifier 1 loser in Qualifier 2, and the Qualifier 2 winner takes the other final place.

FAQs

How many points is a win worth in SA20 2027?

The official 2027 playing conditions had not been published at the 3 November 2026 check, so the 2027 points rules are shown as TBC here. In recent SA20 seasons a win was worth four points, a no-result shared two points each, and a loss was worth zero.

What is the bonus point?

In recent SA20 seasons, a win earned one extra point when the winning side's run rate was at least 1.25 higher than the losing side's. That made a bonus-point win worth five points. The 2027 rule is TBC until the official regulations are published.

How many teams reach the playoffs?

Four. First plays second in Qualifier 1, and the winner goes straight to the final. Third plays fourth in the eliminator. The eliminator winner plays the Qualifier 1 loser in Qualifier 2, and the Qualifier 2 winner takes the other final place.

What decides a tie on points?

In recent seasons the order was points, then wins, then bonus points, then net run rate. Those are recent-season rules, not a confirmed 2027 list.

What is net run rate?

Net run rate compares how fast a team scores with how fast it concedes, measured in runs per over across the league stage. It is only used as a tie-breaker, once points and wins and bonus points cannot separate two teams.

When does the table update?

After each completed match, from official match cards. Until match 1 is played on 17 January 2027, the table stays at zero for all six sides.
